The Galaxy S7 Active: The Tough
and Rugged Smartphone
Samsung Galaxy S7 active, it is a
very strong and rugged smartphone. I am really happy and a little bit
disappointed with this phone at the same time. It's one of the best Samsung
makes so the Galaxy S7 active is all
like Galaxy Samsung S7 plus some differences, one obviously the much more
rugged exterior so this is meant to be an active phone like the Galaxy S6 active
from last year so it is able to take more drops, stand up to the more harsh conditions and just
generally be more durable as everyday device and the rubberized backing and the
frame help and do just that giving it a military grade 810G shock resistance
and also maintaining the IP68 dust and water-resistant like normal Galaxy S7.
It's a rubber rim that hangs
around the front a little bit to protect the screen when its face down and it
beats up the corners were most impacts happen if you would have dropped it so
basically like having a really good case on the phone , it's not the prettiest
thing in the world but it's definitely functional. The display is shatter-proof
, it is Gorilla Glass 4, it should be bit harder to shatter or crack from a normal
DROP especially with the rubberized corners. It is a really tough phone it
still have physical navigation buttons as well at the bottom like last year's
model and surrounding the new home button which does have a fingerprint sensor
this time the physical buttons are definitely easier to use.
It also has a custom key up at
the top left that is completely
programmable for up to three different actions, a single click , a double click
and a long press so that's awesome and you can dive into the settings and make
this button do essentially whatever you want.
This phone is a little bit
thicker than normal it is loaded with a 4000 milliamp hour battery , and its
totally awesome . It gets you through 2 days of heavy use and that’s what Samsung
is offering in this active phone.
Best display in any smartphone
the stunning HD 5.1 inch Super AMOLED. One of the best camera in any smartphone
also hold a 12 megapixel sensor with f 1.7 glass and Optical image
stabilization and all the top-notch plenty of RAM, Android 6.0 marshmallow, the speaker's
still not that good and it's still skinned android version so you may like it and
we already know if people like the software experience or not since it's the
same as the Galaxy S 7 but now it is built like a tank or indestructible thing and
its unlike the all glass galaxy S7 because it is the most fragile and venerable
not every phone can be pretty rugged like this one.
The biggest problem with this
phone and it the reason why I felt disappointed because it is an
AT&T exclusive, it's only on just one carrier in the US Only. According to
my opinion this is a very good phone and this could have been the the next big
thing but now people don’t know about this phone because it is only available
to AT&T users, so people will have to buy it and then unlock it to use with
other carriers , this is a negative point.
But hopefully Samsung will take
care of this problem on the next model next year.
This is it I hope you guys liked
the review.
